Stigg uses versioning to safely manage updates to plans and add-ons without disrupting entitlement behavior. Whenever a package is modified, Stigg automatically creates a new version, allowing you to review and test changes before deciding whether to publish them. When publishing a new version, you control who receives the updated entitlements:
  • New subscriptions only: the new version applies only to customers who subscribe after publication, ensuring existing customers keep their current entitlements.
  • Existing and new subscriptions: all active customers are migrated to the new version, aligning their entitlements with the updated package.
This versioning model keeps entitlement management predictable and gives you full control over how packaging changes roll out.
