An entitlement defines which features a customer can use in your product and under what limits or configuration. Entitlements separate pricing from product behavior, making it easy to update features whenever your pricing changes. Entitlements are not customer settings. They come from the plan a customer buys, while settings are choices the customer makes inside their account. They’re also not the same as plans themselves. Plans like Basic or Pro simply bundle and configure entitlements, which are the actual features a customer gets.
