A feature represents a piece of product functionality that can be monetized. Stigg supports three feature types, each mapping directly to a corresponding entitlement model:
  • Boolean features — Provide on/off access to a capability.
  • Configuration features — Provide a numeric configuration value, such as retention days or maximum file size.
  • Metered features — Provide access to functionality with usage that must be tracked, such as API calls, seats, or monthly active users (MAUs).
An entitlement is the combination of a feature and its assigned configuration for a specific customer.
