Stigg is the only solution that lets you manage entitlement access and enforce it in real time with low latency, and bill for usage, on a single platform. A metered feature tracks how much of your application a customer consumes (API calls, tokens, seats) based on usage your application reports to Stigg. On a contract, that same reported usage can also drive billing: Set up the same metered feature on both sides of the contract:
  1. Entitlement side: create a subscription to the metered feature so Stigg starts tracking the customer’s usage against it.
  2. Billing side: add that same metered feature as a line item when setting up the billing contract.
Once both are set up, every usage event reported to Stigg does both jobs at once: it counts against the entitlement, and it becomes billed quantity on the invoice.
