Overview
To allow customers to add payment methods via the Stigg Checkout widget, a Zuora Payment Form must be configured. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.All payment methods are stored directly in Zuora.
If no payment gateway is connected in Zuora, the Payment Form will still render but will only display invoice and currency options. Payment methods cannot be collected in this case.
Setting up the integration
- Log in to your Zuora account.
- Navigate to Settings → Payments → Setup Payment Forms.
- Review the Payment Form configuration and copy the publishable key.
- Note your Payment gateway ID from the Zuora dashboard.
Enable the Stigg Checkout widget in Zuora settings
In Stigg → Settings → Integrations → Zuora, scroll to the Additional settings section:- Enable the Use Stigg Checkout widget toggle.
When this toggle is off, the Zuora Payment Form fields are hidden and the Checkout widget will not collect payment methods. Enable it to allow customers to add payment methods through the checkout experience.For more information about the Stigg Checkout widget, see the Checkout widget documentation.

Once enabled, fill in the following required fields:
- Publishable key — copied from your Zuora Payment Form setup
- Payment gateway ID — the ID of your payment gateway in Zuora
- Click Save changes.
Go live checklist
- Confirm a valid Payment Gateway is connected in Zuora.
- Verify the Use Stigg Checkout widget toggle is enabled in the Zuora integration settings in Stigg.
- Verify the Publishable key and Payment gateway ID are set and saved.
- Test adding a payment method in a Zuora sandbox tenant with a configured test gateway.
- Switch to production once validation is successful.
