}Get a single invoice by ID
Retrieves an invoice’s PDF in a single call, waiting for the render when it isn’t cached yet — the convenient shape for a caller with nowhere to put a polling loop. If the render does not complete in time the call fails with a retryable message.

Server API Key
Headers
Account ID — optional when authenticating with a user JWT (Bearer token); falls back to the user's first membership. Ignored for API-key auth.
Environment ID — required when authenticating with a user JWT (Bearer token) on environment-scoped endpoints. Ignored for API-key auth (env is intrinsic to the key).
Path Parameters
External ID of the customer the invoice belongs to: your customer ref when mapped, otherwise the Received customer ID
1 - 255^[a-zA-Z0-9][a-zA-Z0-9_|.@-]*$The billing provider (Received) invoice ID
255Response
The invoice PDF, base64-encoded, with its suggested file name.
Response object
An invoice's PDF. Renders are asynchronous and cached transiently rather than stored, so there is no durable URL: the file comes back inline once ready, and PENDING means poll again.
