# Overview

Paid plans in Stigg are designed to let customers subscribe to your product in a **self-serve** manner.

When a plan is defined as **Paid**, additional configuration details are required.

To set a plan as **Paid**:

1. Select **Paid** as the plan type.
2. Choose the **Billing model**:
   * **Recurring**: charges customers automatically on a regular schedule.
   * **Prepaid**: applies one-time charges for defined periods or credits.
3. Click **Continue** to proceed.
