# Revoking access to features

Features of any type (Boolean, configuration, or metered) can later have their access revoked when assigned to plans, add-ons, or promotional entitlements.

You can revoke access to an add-on using the [Stigg UI](../add-ons/assigning-features-to-add-ons). Other revokation methods are defined programmatically via SDKs.

Revoking access does not delete the feature itself, it simply marks the entitlement as **Access denied** in that package, overriding the inherited setting.
