# Storing metadata

To store metadata on a coupon:

1. In the **Coupons** sub-section of the **Product Catalog**, select the desired coupon.
2. Scroll to the **Metadata** section.
3. Click **Add** if no metadata exists, or **Edit** to update existing metadata.
4. Enter the relevant key-value pairs.
5. Click **Add** (for new metadata) or **Save changes** (to update existing metadata).

Metadata can be accessed through the Stigg SDKs, API, and webhooks to enable custom functionality in your application or third-party integrations.
