# Archiving coupons

When a coupon is archived, it can no longer be applied to new customers, but existing customers who already have the coupon will remain unaffected.

To archive a coupon:

1. In the **Coupons** sub-section of the **Product Catalog**, locate the coupon you want to archive.
2. Click the dotted menu icon (⋯) in the coupon’s row.
3. Select **Archive** from the menu options.
4. In the confirmation modal, click **Archive** to complete the action.
