# Publishing add-ons

After defining the basic details, entitlements, and pricing for draft add-ons, publish the add-on.

To publish an add-on:

1. Click the **"Publish"** button in the add-on’s header.
2. Once published, [mark the add-on as compatible with the relevant plans](#defining-add-on-compatibility-with-specific-plans) so customers can create subscriptions that include both the plan and the compatible add-on.
