# Canceling subscriptions

To cancel a subscription:

1. Click the dotted menu icon next to the subscription.
2. Select **Cancel subscription**.
3. In the modal, choose when the subscription should be canceled:
   * **At the end of the current billing cycle or trial period**\
     (Not applicable for custom-priced plans or trial subscriptions.)
   * **Immediately**
   * **On a specific date**\
     (Not applicable for trial periods.)

  The cancellation timing is preselected based on the [product’s default behavior](../../modeling-your-pricing-in-stigg/products#advanced-product-settings).\
  Cancellation logic, whether access is revoked or the customer is downgraded to a free plan, is also determined by this behavior.

4. Click **Cancel subscription** to confirm.

  1) Canceled subscriptions display a **Canceled** status.
  2) Subscriptions awaiting cancellation display a **Cancellation scheduled** status.
